This song is fantastic and is about the important role women played during the Mexican Revolutionary War. They weren’t only tough ladies, but the backbone and support system for the army, not to mention they carried EVERYTHING on their backs -nursing supplies, cooking supplies, food, kids, domestic needs, ammo and guns.
